“I believe that learning to dance in the rain of life’s storms and finding breaks in the clouds can bring hope and joy even in the darkest of times”

— Emma Gray, Rainbow Hunting Limited

About Emma Gray

Emma’s wealth of personal and professional experience can help you find your best way forwards.

At the age of 35, Emma’s husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer. As well as being faced with losing the love of her life, overnight she had to come to terms with so much: the shock of the day-to-day reality of bringing up two young bereaved children alone, becoming the breadwinner in the family and being the carer to her increasingly poorly partner. Emma found the experience difficult, isolating and lonely and she battled with her demons whilst everyone else appeared to be getting on with their seemingly happy, normal, family lives.

Nonetheless, even on the most challenging of days, Emma discovered what she called Rainbow Hunting – looking for the smallest breaks in the clouds and rain to find hope and joy, even in her darkest times.

Now widowed, Emma is training to be a counsellor and is dedicating her life to helping people who find themselves in similar tragic and difficult circumstances. Emma’s background as an award-winning solicitor, mental wellness advocate and expert in end-of-life legal paperwork, means Emma is uniquely qualified to give both practical advice and emotional support to guide you through the toughest of times and to help you learn to dance in the rain and find your own rainbows.
